 Shannon Hauser, MPT, ATC
Shannon Hauser received her Undergraduate Degree in Exercise Science from the University of Florida and her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. While at the University of Florida, she specialized in Athletic Training which required over 1500 hours of experience evaluating and treating sports injuries. She worked in the University of Florida training room, local high schools, and completed an internship with the Orlando Predators football team. Shannon has enjoyed working with all ages including pediatrics. She spent two years developing a therapeutic horseback riding program aimed at improving motor control of children with developmental disabilities. She has also continued her education in special areas of interest including: pregnancy and postpartum exercises, sacroiliac
dysfunction, manual therapy, and geriatric exercise
programs.
Michael Hauser, MPT
Michael Hauser received his undergraduate degree in biology from Vanderbilt University and his Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He has worked with a wide variety of populations ranging from neurological disorders to orthopaedic injuries in both outpatient and hospital settings. His interest and experience with golf related injuries has led him to develop performance enhancement programs for professonal golfers. Michael has also completed courses in geriatric orthopaedics, foot biomechanics, manual therapy and myofascial release techniques to enhance his knowledge of the physical therapy profession.
Orit Israel, PT (not yet shown)
Orit Israel was awarded the degree Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from University of Maryland. She has worked in a variety of settings ranging from orthopaedic out-patient rehabilitation to general hospital settings. The patient popluation that she has treated has included for the most part Orthopaedic patients. Orit became part of our therapy team in August of 2008.
